Pronunciation: /ˈklɒkˌwaɪz/ Explain

The term clockwise refers to a rotation in the same direction as analog clock hands turn. Counterclockwise is the opposite direction of an analog clock. In British English, anticlockwise means the same thing as counterclockwise.
